Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Admit Card on the official website for the recruitment of Constable (GD) in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, NCB, SSF, and Assam Rifles. The exam will be conducted from 27 April 2026 to 30 May 2026. The SSC GD slot selection process started on 11 April 2026, and candidates were able to submit their preferences until 15 April 2026. Candidates can check their Admit Card using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth by logging into the portal. The direct link is provided below.

Is Registration mandatory for applying to the examinations of the Commission?

Yes, One-Time Registration with the Commission is a mandatory prerequisite. On completion of One-Time Registration, candidates can apply online for any examination of the Commission.

You may check the ‘Spam’ folder in your e-mail. If email is not received even in the Spam folder, it is likely that you have entered wrong email-id. You may contact Helpline of the concerned Regional Office through a call or email.

When is the notice/advertisement of an Examination issued?

Tentative dates of issue of Notices of different Examinations are given in the Annual Calendar of Examinations. It is therefore advised to regularly visit the website of the Commission for latest updates.

What are the posts for which the SSC conducts exams and what are the required qualifications ?

The SSC conducts open examinations regularly for posts for which large number ofvacancies exist, these are : Graduate Level- Assistants, Auditors/Jr.Accountants/Upper Division Clerks, Divisional Accountants, Inspectors of Income Tax/Central Excise, Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organisations (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB) and the CBI, Section Officer (Commercial) and Section Officer (Audit). Matric Level- Stenographer Grade `C`, Stenographer Grade `D`, and Lower Division Clerks.(ii) Direct interviews are held for some posts, called Selection Posts, after inviting applications through advertisements, as and when such vacancies are reported to the Commission. Some of such posts are Statistical Assistant, Store Keeper, Jr/Sr. Computors, Information Assistant, etc.

When does the Commission upload its Annual Calendar of Examinations?

The Annual Calendar of the Examinations of the Commission for the next year is generally uploaded in the month of September/ October of the current year on the SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in).
